The CAB Mission
The mission and vision of the CAB is to make the community aware of the limitations and needs of individuals with limb loss and limb difference to IMPROVE their OPPORTUNITIES, STRENGTHS AND QUALITY OF LIFE in order to CONTINUE to CONTRIBUTE to society at a higher capacity.
Community Advisory Board
The Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a group of trusted individuals who provide guidance, insight, and lived-experience perspectives to support the mission of Amputee Aid. The Board serves in an advisory capacity, helping ensure that our programs, outreach efforts, and strategic priorities remain responsive to the real needs of amputees and the communities we serve.
Members of the Community Advisory Board may include amputees, caregivers, healthcare professionals, community leaders, advocates, and partners who bring diverse expertise and viewpoints. Their role is to offer feedback, share best practices, identify emerging needs, and strengthen connections between Amputee Aid and the broader community.
The Community Advisory Board’s input is vital in shaping programs that are practical, inclusive, and impactful. Through collaboration and shared insight, the Board helps Amputee Aid improve services, expand access to resources, and better support amputees in achieving independence and quality of life.
